Graveyard Research ....

The parishioners of St Tida's look after the graveyard on a regular, planned basis and have gradually overcome the almost complete loss of their parish records in the civil commotion in Dublin in the year 1921. Scraps of paper, discarded but not destroyed by previous incumbents, have never been so valuable!

We welcome all of you who wish to walk quietly through the graveyard and trust that you will come away with the sense that the past generations who trod the streets and laneways around this place are at rest in simple but dignified surroundings.

Bon Voyage 2006 ....

We were very pleased to welcome James, Jim and Matt Gourley from the western USA States of Utah and California to our church  on 9th April 2006 (one year ago) and we congratulate them on the successful location of their ancestral homestead beside Scullion's Wood, Ballydermot Road.
